Ok...there was another thread that made me think of this topic. I hate whenever restaurants, stores, really anything that has logos/ads/etc. change their cool original logo to keep up with the times. For example...I HATE Pizza Huts "newer style" logo. I loved the plain and simple one that they had before...the one that totally reminded me of my youth. Anyway...that is what this thread is about. What other logos have changed for the worse...let's see them.

I doubt I could find it anywhere because they changed it a loooong time ago.. but I remember the Gap logo used to be three very round lowercase letters "gap" and now it's real skinny white uppercase letters in a blue square. :-\\

I miss those old retro logos so much, I made my own avatars out of the old Pizza Hut and Burger King logos ;D

Then we have Dairy Queen. Now...I still see the old Logo...but it seems like they are trying to slip the new one in under our noses...hmmmpf...how RUDE!!

The DQ one isn't bad.  It's part of their slogan "DQ something Different", but they usually only use it on the wrappers and drink cups

OMG....I hate their new logo! Thankfully..there are still a few older ones around here that still use the old ones!

One that really really annoys me is the new crappy logo for the Canadian restaurant chain Swiss Chalet. 

In the 80's and early 90's, it had a nice swiss style font and looked like this (as seen in the commercials they used to have) ...

They don't.  It's a shame too.  It was always nice to go in there and it was almost like an actual swiss restaurant.  Nowadays, they just wear ordinary shirts (usually Blue) with the new Chalet logo on them  :\'(

Actually, it's kind of good in away that they don't have those uniforms no more.  Lots of Swiss Chalets now have men as waiters, and I don't want to see no guys wearing a uniform like that  ;D

yes...they really suck. They are like the general type of shirt that all of these fast food chains have adopted as their official type of uniform...so generic...so unoriginal. :(

At the Dairy Queen in the near by city, they walk around with gravy and chilli sauce stains all over their shirt.  The last time I was in there, one of the workers who was quite a large woman had missed one of the buttons on her shirt, and I could see part of her belly hanging out and she had thick hair all around her navel.  Haven't been back to that particular location since http://67.18.37.16/475/31/emo/bedlam.gif

So many restaurants I've been to, they never wear clean uniforms.  The nicest one I've been to is A&W.  They were these neat retro style orange and brown T-Shirt like uniforms

How about Mountain Dew?
They changed that logo 2 times within the last 10 years - 1997 and 2005!
I liked the one before that much better.
