This large field is now a housing estate, and it's actually huge!!! The building in the top corner of the picture was knocked down a few years ago to make way for the new houses. I walk through the park in the picture to get to work. Its entrance is directlt at the bottom of my street

;D no. Google Earth. I just downloaded it not long ago... it's really good. I was surprised at how much our estate and the surrounding estates have changed in about 5 years... even my street has changed loads since the shots were taken!

Say, I see you're running that Google Geo-Mapping thing and it looks good. Would you recommend it?
That's a downloadable proggy, right? I could have some fun with that. Globe Explorer puts that annoying logo all over the pic unless you pay for it, and I don't like paying for things...

The top purple circle is my office - and the bottom purple circle is my home.

Wow- tell me where!
I used to live on Ada Drive, which used to be a little residential street only two blocks long. From what I understand it's a pretty major street now. Anyways the nearest major streets would have been Richmond and Forest Ave.

Murray Hulbert Avenue, isn't it?

While i'm at it, i'll show you my school.
The main building is where years 7-11 have their lessons
The briery building is where the 6th form is based
The extension isn't on this picture (it's been constructed if you look closely), but that's where the new science and IT rooms are and also includes the new library
At the very top of the picture, where there's a field and some trees and stuff is where they've built some new houses and appartments

Oh, I forgot to add our school's (only) cool feautre - a tunnel leading from the main school to the briery which goes underneath the road!!!
It's marked in yellow
I am sure... ;)
Is that school a big building? how many students?
1,100 I think. About 200 in each year 7-11 and theres about 500 in years 12 and 13

It was a plus, definately. The new science rooms are the best classrooms in the entire school, and the library's pretty good too. We're getting the rest of the school done over to look like the new rooms as well... the progress isn't as quick as some people would have liked

It sort of is because the charming and pleasant young men at our school like to spit on the roof of the tunnel, so you have to go quickly through or risk having slaver down your top :P
Seriously, some of the kids at my school need a smack in the face

it had those yellow emergency lights guiding the way. very war time, but it was only 1970.
i htought the janitors lived in there.
Everyone calls our janitors the Mario Brothers. One of them's short and fat and looks like Mario with glasses. The other one's tall and dark-haired like Luigi ;D
