Hm, not sure. I might go to a cabin for the weekend, with my family, or go to Pittsburgh with my friend. But if not, then maybe.

^Hey man, don't go. Too many "regulars" have left or at least decreased visits lately. That kinda starts a chain reaction ("oh, isn't around anymore. It's not as fun as it used to be. Think I'll take a break too").
But honestly, I do understand sometimes ya just need a break. I've been going to fansites and boards since 1998. There's times you just get sick of something for the meantime (esp if it's currently boring or not much new is going on).
For me, every time I take a week or two away, it recharges the batteries. Perhaps that's what you need to do.
To answer the question, I'll avoid the proverbial reference to taking a time machine two weeks into the future to find out. In other words I'm not sure, lol -- I may be working that day. If not, I have a couple friends that might wanna go out.
But if I am here, it'll be special 'cause it'll be my first "rollover" year. Hey, that may not be quite in the same league as when a car odometer hits 10,000 but it's close! 8)

I'll spend the last evening of this year (and the first hour or so of the new) with/at my parents'. And I'll be sound asleep by the time New Years Day will finally reach you guys on the other side of the pond, so I won't be online at either time.

I most likely will be... I visit this site just about every day.
Whether I will be on the computer at the stroke of midnight or not, I don't know yet.

We are going to have a party. I will probably be here early in the day and of course on New Year's Day. But, at the stroke of midnight, I will be drinking spumonti and giving my hubby a new year's kiss.

I don't like being on the roads during the holidays because there are always people who will drink and drive.

I probably will but I'm not sure yet.I'll be going to see my friend up in Niskayuna who changed our plans from meeting on Christmas weekend to seeing him on New Year's weekend so he could clear his schedule of all his appointments just to see me next week.

To add on to my last post: The lot of us are heading north for a few days and setting up tents. No electricity or anything for 8 days... should be fun! :D
So yeah, I won't be around much after Christmas.

Happily for Ruby, there's not many get let off around here at New Years'...
(...mind you, I say that...!)
New Year's is the big thing here (I think especially due to the huge Japanese population we have)...and people usually let off more firecrackers at this time than on Independence Day!!

Office in a grocery store. Unfortunately, people have to eat, and drink, which means I have to count all the money they spent the day before! ;)
