Subject: If you could keep just 1 album, which one would it be?

I believe I could live with Led Zeppelin IV (aka ZOSO) as my choice.

"HIStory" by Michael Jackson. Because disc 1 is a greatest hits CD so I can still listen to Billie Jean, Bad, Black or White etc. and disc 2 is an original album which IMO is the most versatile collection of songs I've ever heard. Everything from classic pop, to pop/rock, hip hop, traditional-African inspired music, classically inspired music, and everything in between. It's quite unique. I would keep this album because then I would be able to listen to just about any style I wanted to.

well thought out choices. I was looking at all my CD's and was just wondering which one would be the one if some weird twilight zone thing happened & i was only allowed to keep 1.

I'm gonna assume it can't be (1) a personally made mix tape/CD, (2) a various artist compilation, or (3) a greatest hits. ;)
Going on that (studio albums), it's still hard as ever, but probably Sports from Huey Lewis (1983). One of the first I liked, and in 20 years I've never grown tired of it one bit. It's just extremely feelgood all the way through. Somewhere inbetween classic rock and 80's pop.
Honorable mentions:
"White Album" - The Beatles (esp. Part 1)
Can't Slow Down - Lionel Richie
Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen
Chicago 17
4 - Foreigner
Hard Promises - Tom Petty
