I think that once I entered college, it was the "land of maturity." Even before then, in my senior year of High school, I used my techniques for ignoring ppl who called me names (especially that of a kid who I knew in junior high and 9th grade---maybe they thought I behaved similar to him, but my behaviour was totally different from his).
i dealt with it by not being such a dork. lol. now that I'm a grownup I don't have to worry about it as much and can now safely be a dork again. which is nice.

Geeks are either very into computers, video games or some sort of Role-Playing Game.. anything with a very cult-following that isn't a sport or anything that involves much moving.
Nerds are the types that study all the time, do well in school, and lack much of a social life. Geeks at least have other geeks.
Dorks are simply anyone who is awkward socially or physically. Often, a geek or a nerd can also be a dork. Some can be all three, if you're a very social nerd.

Thats me! Well, not so much the video games and RPG, but I am very much into computer stuff such as webpage design, creating forums, making websites, photoshopping... things like that.

This is not to say that you don't have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside of you--we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right above. Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care! They are highly intelligent and passionate about the things they know are *truly* important in the world. Typically, this does not include sports, cars or make-up, but it can on occassion (and if it does then they know more than all of their friends combined in that subject).
Outcast geniuses can be very lonely, due to their being outcast from most normal groups and too smart for the room among many other types of dorks and geeks, but they can also be the types to eventually rule the world, ala Bill Gates, the prototypical Outcast Genius.
hmmm... Genuis... seems a bit over the top. I guess "can be lonely" gives you that out, if you aren't lonely. I'm married, so I'm never lonely.

It's not as though you were some whiz-kid in school. Oh, sure, you probably did okay in some classes, but were probably awful in others. Certainly most people thought you were smarter than you thought yourself to be. And it's not that you have some overriding passion, like computers or Star Trek that sets you apart for the crowd, though you likely share some interest in some of those sorts of things. You just like to be yourself, and want to express yourself for who you are.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

It's not that you're a school junkie, like the nerd, and you don't really stand out in a crowd, like the dork, you just have some interests that aren't quite mainstream. I wear sunglasses, but not glasses for vision correction, my eye sight is normal. :)

I took a test once on some website, and I'm 'officially'. 'hip-nerdy' Nerdy enough to have a brain , but with a much better social life. I think I was 45% nerd, 23% geek, and the remainder was dork. I like to think of myself as the 'dork pin-up queen' Thank you very much!

I've watched wrestling on occasion, but it's been awhile since I have(it's really the only thing in that category that I've enjoyed, since all other sports bore me to the point that I hear crickets chirping).
