Ok...due to the recent happenings over the past day or so, that have caused a few members to resort to nearly allowing themselves to be banned...I have decided to make this thread.
I think that maybe we need a place to address certain situations that are bothering us concerning other board members, etc...WITHOUT resorting to name calling, or being mean to the other person. I am all about trying to resolve things in a diplomatic and adult-like manner (without calling names and making fun, etc.). Maybe people can come here and let other board members know that something they did really hurt them, pissed them off, didn't agree with, etc...and then they can work together to resolve it...instead of holding grudges, being rude, or getting banned.
Some of you may think this is a stupid idea....but I think it might be more effective than losing very important board members over trivial stuff.

Good idea, Erin! But I must say, I think some people will either ignore or abuse this thread.
Nally... (Capitolized because it's the beginning of a sentence) .. Although it doesn't bother me much, some people have been having hard times with you because you tend to kind of be, dare I say... A perfectionist. If a thread is pointless, or in the wrong place, you make a big deal out of it. The beauty of the PPP is it's meant for anything. Nally... I mean this in the nicest way, but.. it's just starting to annoy some people.

I haven't been really mad with people on here as it's just posting on a board. I stay detached from it as not to let my feelings get involved. I have been annoyed a few times, but to keep the peace I won't name names. Here are a few things that have annoyed me a little, little bit..
1. Constant name changing (just because I have a hard time remembering my own name, lol)
2. Shocking comments that are only looking for a shocking response.
3. Hurting others feelings in a belligerent manner.
4. Avatars that are just a bit hard to stomach.

I'm 28, so I'm way past ever being cool myself(never was cool anyway, just quirky), I just tend to show a sillier and sometimes naughtier side and don't mind doing it, sometimes for conversation, sometimes just to get it out of my system.

I have absolutely no clue what the hell is happening on this board anymore! There are personal vendettas and problems happening back and forth, and many inside comments, and its clogging up the board.

Shocking as in really off the wall stuff that doesn't really belong where it was posted. Maybe shocking isn't the right word, but usually these kinds of comments are just looking for a reaction, so it depends on who it's aimed towards to really determine if it's "shocking."

Hey, if it's any consolation, you're not at all "boring" to me! In fact, many a time I'll click on a thread if I see your name in the "Last Post" indicator thingy.
Oh, and like I always say, age is just numbers - it doesn't determine someone's personality or interests, IMO. Especially if it's just a few years difference, that always kinda seems like splitting hairs to me.
Anyway, I think you're about the same age as me (born in '82, if I recall from our 80's discussions). I guess you'd be 22 or 23 now, so for double consolation (LOL) if the "me" of ten years ago took a time machine to 2005 and got on this board, I'm sure he'd say the same thing about you. :)

I feel I shouldn't have catagorized the 15-18 year old kids on here because I was once there myself and I remember how it felt to be that age, so I regret putting them into an age catagory. I think what I was meaning to say is that people between that age bracket seem not too interested in what the people in our age bracket say on here. While I applaud you for not stereotyping by age, I do have to say... there really IS a fundamental difference between those groups, and almost all of the people involved in the recent issues have been anywhere from mid-teens to 20s.
"Children" was the negative term, you presented in a rather good way. Don't sweat it.

You're driving me crazy because you've turned this forum into.. well, to be completely honest, you've taken all the fun out of it. You jump on the "you might offend someone" bandwagon.
I'm not the type to get easily offended (even if I happen to disagree with someone, it's always in a friendly "agree to disagree" kinda way), and I also try to have a fun, joking and loose atmosphere in my posts (articulate as well as serious too, when appropriate) - so you won't have to worry about any of that from me. :)
