Do any of you have any major project/plans/assignments/etc..that you are going to be working on come next year?




We are going to be putting a new front porch on our house (new roof, floorboards, railings, spindles, steps) come Spring time.  We are also going to be doing some major landscaping, as the yard was a mess when we moved in and we haven't done much with it this past summer.


I have a lot of painting/decorating plans for the spring/summertime as well.


We are also (in the near future) going to be refinishing our attic to be a sports/family-type room, and refinish the basement as well...for more space, especially for my side business....also, we have to put a bathroom in down there.


Thank goodness that we have Chris' brother...he is a handyman and knows how to do just about anything when it comes to home fix-its....he will help us out alot.


That should definitely keep us busy for a few years! ;)



ALSO...Vaughn will be starting pre-school next year (I can't believe that..already)...and as soon as he goes to kindergarten...I am going back to finish school.

- Get a job (although that's a goal I'm trying to achieve before the New Year)
- Become more active and sociable


Those are the main ones.

Paint our lounge and dining rooms.  Redecorate our bedroom and add an ensuite.  Front garden makeover.

We were planning on going to Puerto Rico in Feb. but we don't know yet because of Carlos' back. We have to play it by ear. We are also planning on redoing our bathroom.

Try to improve grades.

We are finally going to install all the flooring I've been collecting over the years! Of course that is a dominoe thing, if you do the floors you may as well paint and if you paint you may as well.... I am so excited - instead of designing other peoples homes I can do my own finally! 

Paint my front room (or lounge, whatever you wish to call it) - which I really should have done this year...oh well...!

And I think my bedroom is in line for a re-think...

Really focus on school.

Get a job, lose weight and buy a house. I suppose these could make good new year resolutions.

Definately doing alot of painting and what we call, "blowing up the bathroom" and starting over!  :D It needs a total renovation. Some yard work, new gutters, and we'll probably find more once we get started.

I want to focus on getting my life together

Hopefully to cut down on my volunteering and start working towards a part time job.
