I can only wear mine on my left shoulder...it feels too strange the other way around! :D

I can't stand a purse on my shoulder. Although I usually hold the handles to my purse in my right hand, I switch sometimes. Or sometimes I will hold it on my lower arm, usually on the right but sometimes the left.

I carry by purse on my left shoulder. I've tried to carry it on my right and it just slides off. ;D

I hang it on my left shoulder and the strap goes across my chest so that the actual purse is at my right side.

oh that's a new one..ok..when i go dancing my purse goes from my right shoulder to my left side :D ;D

well....I don't carry a purse....so my answer would be: neither. I absolutely HATE purses! I have one that I keep in my car, but I never carry it around.

Speaking of handbags..
What are some of your favorite and what is the price range you are willing to pay?
I love Liz Claiborne purses and Coach. I can't afford anything over $200 for a purse. I do think that there is a huge difference between the $20 purse and even the $100 purse. The higher end purse feels rich and you can feel how it is made witrh good quality material.
The purse I really want costs about 2 grand! :-X

Right but sometimes I switch it to the left. It usually has to do with what else I have in my hands (or which side Carlos is walking next to me so I can hold his hand without the purse getting in the way. ;D )

I don't think so. I'm right handed. But my purse stays on my left. Maybe its because I use my right hand for everything else.

Either shoulder, I'm not picky. Actually my dang purse is so heavy, I have to change shoulders frequently in a day's time. I'm really beginning to wonder if I actually *need* to bring my whole house along with me when I leave. Then the hubby gives me stuff to carry in my purse occasionally too.

A funny (or not so funny, depending on your level of interest) anecdote about by one experience with a backpack.
I've always been erm...well-endowed, and my one experience with a backpack is I managed to put both straps on both shoulders (cause...well it's a backpack, so I figured that is what you are supposed to do with it). However, I get to my locker, can't get the thing off, I'm STUCK! Feel like a turtle on it's back. Takes me awhile, but finally wiggle out of the thing, never wear a backpack again, just drag it around on the floor, or lug it around on my shoulder. I've always had a bad habit of bringing way more stuff then I really need along with me. Must have been a boy scout in another life. Always prepared!

Definitely right. A purse or bag on my left shoulder feels awkward.
