Since I adore my cats, I would like to know how many other penguins are head-over-flippers in love with their pets! Post the pictures and tell us about them :D
Here is my cat number one called Nene. It is a female, cross breed cat. Aged 17. She is the biggest (I don't mean fat) domestic cat I have ever seen, and of course the cutest ;)

Actually, I do :D Well, I did not know when I named her, but my ex-boyfriend was a bird-watcher and he told me about it! Are you from Hawai?

I noticed that there is another thread for pets which has been going on a lot longer than this!! No wonderno-one wants to post :\'(
Anyway, here is my second cat called Jun. Unfortunetly he died last year of illness :\'( But he still looks cute and cuddly in my memory and photos :D

How does she cope with that heat in all that fur?

Yes, she somehow manages to keep cool...either by hiding in that bush or by laying on the garage floor... :D

I often wonder why some people hate cats..or think they're stupid, mean, cold, or aloof.....maybe those persons have never let themselves be owned by a cat.
Cats are far from stupid, mean, or uncaring....one just has to accept cats on their terms.
Tika is a truly caring creature. She senses when I am not feeling well, or am having a bad day...and sits or lays next to me and purrs, which is very soothing.

Cats are truly precious...and so graceful when they walk,jump, and do things like walk along the top of a fence without falling...also cats, in some ways, are 'humans with fur and a tail'..Tika is VERY interested in the things I do...and even tries to join in sometimes!
