I only trail you by approximately 500 now...

I start school again the last week of this month; I will be taking a literature class and a California history class; even though it's only two classes, they still might be tough and I may not be around here quite as frequently.

Good luck with your two courses. I assume California History will involve the 49's the gold-diggers?

I'm sure it will... I do have quite a background on California history, being that I have lived in California my whole life. :)

If you live in an area, you do pick up snppiets of information about the past, like me with London, you just stroll down a road, and there is Blue Plaque on a building informing that some famous used to live there. The buildings or areas are history and the events that occured within.

That's right... in the 25 years I've been alive I've visited various localities in the State of California (but nothing north of San Francisco or south of San Diego), so I have picked up lots of snippets of info about the past.
I have never been to London (or anywhere outside the U.S.), but my mom has; in fact, 30 years ago this summer, she had taken a trip to Europe.
Mind if we pick up this discussion in another thread, like my "Ask/Talk To Jeff" thread? I'll go find it...
