Subject: Which young actor/actress do you think will go far in Hollywood??

I really like that kid who played Peter Pan, in the one that came out a year or two ago, his name is Jeremy Sumpter.....

I reckon peter McNicholl who played Little Chris in Lock Stock & Two Smoking barrels will go a long way.
He was also in About a Boy and England Expects.
I reckon he'll get a good break soon, everything i've seen him in he's a funny lad.
I say lad, i doubt he's much younger than me.

Gabriel Union maybe. Is she young enough to qualify on this board? She is in early 20's I think. I think she might have a bright future.

Definately Dakota Fanning.
I first spotted her in an epsiode of CSI, then the Sean Penn film I am Sam. Such a wise little soul already. Very talented. Now on Aus Tv narrating Taken (yeah yeah we know it took 3 years to get here) and starring opposite the loony Cruise who makes her look even more mature - in War of the Worlds.
I hope fame doesnt spoil her the way it has with some child stars.

Might take some time until she officially breal out, not to mention a better actress than Raven Symone, Hillary Duff, and Lindsay Lohan. Not to forget that she's quite a cutie. :-* :) (I'm a year older than her)

She's one of the few young actresses today that I think who is quite talented with her comedic timing & facial expressions. Especially that I don't like most shows on The Disney Channel.

I think Freddie Highmore, the little boy who played Charlie Bucket, in "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory", and he was also in "Finding Neverland" is an excellent little actor.

there have been quite a few child stars that were SO good when they were young...now you never even hear of them any longer.

Well, that's what I meant by "curse of the child star"... many good actors begin as children, and it's hard to take the seriously later in life.

Several years ago I knew that both Lindsey Lohan and Mischa Barton would become big stars. Unfortunately both of them have gone down hill since their earlier stuff. Like when I saw Lindsey Lohan play both twins in the remake of "The Parent Trap" I knew she would take off but since then her talent has basically disappeared. Mischa I first saw her in "Sixth Sense" and I knew she would take off to but recently since her fame has really taken off with "The OC" show she has really gone down hill and seems to be turning into nothing much better than say Brittney Spears is. Which if you had asked me just a few years ago if I would have thought Mischa would have fallen that direction I would have never guessed it.

I haven't been exactly dead-on with predicting the future of younger actors (though my sister was right with River Phoenix), but Liam Aiken of "Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events" is a name that comes up in articles.
