All but one of them were submitted and hurt by "the giant deletion clean-up thing"... so the votes were reset. Nothing legendary for negative votes... but we had +20 1,1,1 votes on one, a few less on others.. but we generally always had more negative then real.

I was just thinking this morning that I'm really getting sick & tired of volunteering so I was discussing with my supervisor at my hospital saying that I am in the process of seeking part-time paid employment soon and just wanted to let some people know so they don't worry about me.I feel at this point in my life that I'm 31 years old and have well over 10 years worth of volunteer experience on my plate and I really want to get back into the working world and earn some money and income so now I'm starting to fill out on-line job applications and get into Supportive Employment soon so I'm really thinking this over as far as my future is concerned with Robin and her relationship with me. :)

I used to feel the same as you until I was referred to by the doctor to see them at the hospital. It took less than a month to get an appointment and they do a great job (usually).

Well, nothing like tonight to bring me right back down from being happy. I went out to excercise so I could be done early and get online. But my mom had to use the computer for an hour because she doesn't know how to work a sign-in. Okay, annoying, but not bad. Then I get a lecture once she finally prints out my SAT scores {Which she got in the mail a week ago} about how much they sucked. Let's see:

1. First year of new SATS
2. Report said "Shows developing mastery". Hm, I'm not quite of age for this test. So developing would be just about right, right?
3. I did my best, I studied my arse off.

Then, after insulting me to the point I was miserable, I have to get up and do their crap, I had to chase the dog around the living room because they won't put away anything. So my dad yells at me more, saying "I know it pains you so to have to get up, and that you had to wait to use your precious internet."

WTF? I was feeling great, now I feel like last week, and last week was... well, I went too far.

And then, after I went upstairs to bed... then they sat outside and talked about me. RIGHT BELOW MY OPEN WINDOW, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. At first, my dad was okay, explaining to my mom that I might not be the perfect, rich genius she wants {his words, not mine}. And I Felt better. But then they got to just downright criticism. It was essentially just picking over everything, from how I held a hotdog last week to the fact that I didn't butter bread the "correct" way three years ago {I kid you not, both of those subjects came up, and stayed 10-15 minutes each... and it really was 3 years ago}.

I slept through the night, but no rest. And it's raining on a field trip to the woods. So we still have to go, but not we get continuously soaked. Oy, ONE DAY OF HAPPINESS, then everything has to fall apart again?

Don't feel bad Apricot....these exact things that your dad was saying about you (about not doing everyday things "correctly") were all said by my ex husband about me.  Nothing I did was ever the "correct" way of doing things.  I got yelled at for putting a pepsi bottle on the counter (it was a "dirty bottle"..how dare I put it on the clean counter)....for dropping a piece of lettuce on the floor once when I was making a salad, and get this....for sitting the "wrong" way on the couch!!!!!!!! I ask you....what is the right way to sit on a couch???? I was merely sitting there with my legs tucked under....and he looked at me like I was sitting there naked with worms coming out of my ears, sucking on a grapefruit.....for the LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!  If it wasn't one thing...it was another.....everyday it was the same thing.....however, I am now AWAY from the mental case and don't have to see him again. What I am trying to say is this....I know life is hard living with a father (who obviously knows nothing about being a decent dad) who ridicules you day and night....but you are getting older and one day you won't be living with him anymore...you will have a life of your own to lead...and the only one that will be sorry is him, for not allowing himself to have a good relationship with his son.  You will be going off to college in a few years....I say go and do what you want...you might not have the parental support, etc..but you can do it on your own.....go and make a happy life for yourself...you don't need others to hinder you in anyway. I know it seems like it is a neverending situation...but trust me...there is light at the end of the tunnel...and when you get there...it feels D A M N good!!!!


Ok...I am finished..I have said enough....I just wanted to let you know that there are people who care about you and your well being...sometimes the best people you can have in your life are friends and NOT family...because you can choose your friends.

I don't know what to say...except that YOU are NOT what you're dad says. Try and stay strong within yourself and ignore his cruelty....the best you can. When I found this place I had just lost my son...people here were/are wonderful and it's helped a lot. All I can tell you is that I'm here for you :-\\

Like Erin said.. face it you aren't gonna be there 'that' much longer. I was really really down in the dumps from about July up until the start of March. There was a lot of stuff going on between me and my old man and we came to blows a couple times.

The day i booked my plane tickets away from this place, man it felt so good. I've been walking on sunshine for the last couple of months.. and the real odd thing is me and my old man have got along a lot better.

Heres a f*king great piece of news that's put me in a right mood. Some clown thought it would be funny to submit a parody on AmIRight under my name. I wouldn't have cared if the parody was half decent, but it was utter sh*t, and it was a parody based on a song that I don't even know the OS of! The f*kin' cheek of some people. Anyway, i pm'd Chucky and he's very kindly removed it, but it's f*king irritated me because people actually thought I wrote that piece of sh*t. They're bastards, whoever it was who submitted it  >:(

We are being invaded with tent catapillers. I can't believe how many there are. Our poor maple in back seemed to be hit hard by them. Hopefully, it will bounce back. Carlos has been fighting them with a squirt bottle full of soap and water. It kills them and not toxic to the enviorment-we now have "clean" trees.  :D ;D  He must have killed THOUSANDS of them and they keep coming back. It is unreal. I found one in the house today-don't know how he got in. It has been really nice out but we don't want to sit on the porch because they are EVERYWHERE. Nasty, nasty critters.  >:( :P

I'm sure they are ALL busy. The entire state is being invaded with them. There was an article in the paper last week that said they are only going to get worse before they get better.  >:(  They only have about a 5-6 week life span before turning into moths. Hopefully we can get most of them before they lay their eggs so we won't have it too bad next year.

No, lessons suck. At this point in my life now,I've never been any happier than I am now and I feel so good that Robin and I are expressing our love for each other and sharing some intimate details.I just hope that both of us can do more traveling and spend more romantic times with each other in the near future. :)

Mowed the lawn; soon to go excercise. Still not feeling too well, but people around me are actually starting to care.
