I installed Bonzi Buddy, then after i got annoyed and uninstalled him using "automatic" thing on the uninstall wizard. But it said something like "If you are a Bonzi Gold Member, uninstall will not stop your BILLING thing" and im scared now; I dont know if i'm a gold member or if my parents are going to get bills or stuff im scared and i cant find where to stop anything like it

You probably would have had to give a credit card number to be a gold member.

Bonzai Buddy is evil.  It installs spyware.  Do you have a spyware program?  I would check into it.

I agree with with Dagwood, on all counts.  And Bonzai is NOBODY'S buddy when it comes to the PC - it is to be eliminated  >:( >:( >:(

Ripp, It might be a good idea to get your parents permission before installing anything again, just to avoid this kind of thing in the future.  :)

And anyway, I had installed Bonzai Buddy before.

I unistalled him too, but I never saw anything about gold members and credit cards then!

And I think my big brother who's 25 came to check too.

That was ages ago. Maybe it's changed...

...but it's real annoying.

First, Ripp, download 'Adaware'. It should take out most of the spyware you have on your computer.  :)

Terminating Bonzi Buddy:

Removing Bonzi Buddy isn't as simple as it might first sound. Since Bonzi Buddy is installed with 'optional components' removing your little buddy with the Uninstall feature of the program won't get rid of everything.

First you need to close the Bonzi Buddy program. Click on Bonzi and say "Goodbye" to end the program. Next, right click on the dollar sign icon next to your clock to close the SaveNow program and choose "Exit".
Click on START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL > ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Click "OK" to start the removal process. Select Bonzi Buddy and click "Remove". While you are removing Bonzi Buddy, you will also have to remove the 'companion' features that were installed with him. Find and remove ClockSync, SaveNow and WeatherCast. Note that both ClockSync and WeatherCast issue popup's to confirm that you 'really' want to remove them.
Exit the Remove/Install Programs feature in Windows and restart your computer.

Finish the uninstall by running a program such as AdAware. To detect remnant files, registry keys and cookies.
