i'm guessing it's a big fat loudmouth. someone who blows out a lot of bullpoop. i equate blowhards with dullards. either that or it means something else....<.< >.>

A blowhard because you have to be an a$$hole to be a blowhard.
If you're an @sshole, it doesn't necessarily mean you're a blowhard.

Not necassarily ... some blowhards are really good-willed; they're just rude.

I know a lot of people who are very good-willed and then they turn around and act like total a-holes.

No, someone who acts crappy fairly regularly but not intending to, is a dumb@ss. An @sshole knows what they are doing.

A blowhard's someone who talks about themself all the time and is generally a harda$$. If you're a former drug addict who names specific dates he did stuff or you're a redneck school teacher you're probably a blowhard.

Someone who brags/boasts whatever you want to call it.  Wait................................
OK, I looked it up in Merriam Webster and the definition was: braggard
So I looked that up and got: a loud arrogant boaster
Sounds like an a-hole to me.
