Subject: Favorite Artist (Painters etc...)

Written By: Kenlos on 04/18/05 at 11:38 am

I don't know if someone has done this before or not.  I am just curious what everyones favorite artist is.  It can be a current artist or a past artist.

Though this artist isn't necessarily my favorite artist I still thought I would post a link to his page on here.  Reason being he is by far one of the most unique artist I have seen.  Before clicking this link, if you are easily offended, grossed out or disturbed I do not recommend you go here.  There is a more detailed disclaimer on his main page that you can read before viewing the artwork if you would like.  But, if none of those things pertain to you I would recommend checking this guy out.  His name is David Aronson.

Dali and Escher most definitely.

Escher's perspective pieces (Metamorphosis and Belvedere spring to mind) are perhaps some of the most incredible things I have seen.

Go to Gallery (left menu) and especially the Switzerland/Belgium section. The pictures may be too small to look at as they are, enlarge them and enjoy the detail.  :)

I really like the "Print Gallery 1956 Lithograph" one in the Recognition and Seccess section.  I like unique art, that is the reason that David Aronson caught my eye, and a lot of Escher's stuff is pretty unique too and that one picture is one that kind of stuck out to me out of the ones I looked at in his gallery.
