no, can't say that I have...the only gambling place I've been to is Wheeling Downs in WV....it was ok...but all they had were slot machines....it was fun though.

You would love Vegas... there is so much to see & do... they have goth shows, adult shows, all kinds of exhibits... The Venetian has gondolas...  you can hold a baby lion and have your picture taken at the MGM...  there's roller coasters at alot of the hotels, awesome food, parades, and no time to sleep!  :)

OMG.....and I SO wouldn't even sleep....I would be way too excited to want to take the time to actually go to bed for awhile! LOL! I have never been out west at all......I have been to the surrounding states...a few southern states...and up to New England...and I've been to Canada twice...but that's about it when it comes to my extent of traveling. Have you ever been to Pa?

Yeah, I have...  When I lived in NY my mom's best friend lived in Uhlerstown PA (on the border of New Jersey) and I've been to Hershey Park, Sesame Place...  I can't remember if Action Park is in Jersey or PA but I've been there too...

Since I brought the subject up, I did some research on Vegas, I visited the city's official site and everything..hmm, the more I read about it the more appealing it seems. :)

yes...there are quite a lot of Amish farmlands here in Pa...as well as in Ohio. The most prevelent place in Pa is called Lancaster County...which is out east near Philly, York, etc.....it is one of my favorite places to go actually....it's very peaceful, country atmosphere....and even though over the years it has gotten pretty much commercialized, it is still a nice relaxing place to spend a weekend.
My fav time to go is in the fall....we usually go for 2 or 3 days....we drive Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) and look at all of the neat nostalgic sites along the way...it's about a 4 hour drive or so from us.

No, I haven't been. I'd like to go some day though, it has some beautiful resorts. Guadalajara also interests me as a city(the birthplace of Mariachi!). Did you know Santana used to be a mariachi?

It's kinda weird when you leave your hometown at a young age.. it was so cool then.. life was good, and so carefree... and there's a part of me that feels like NY hasn't changed with the times.. like if I went back it would still be the same as it was when I left... but I know it's not..

I was 11... but I remember so much.. it seems like I was older... I can remember who lived in all the houses on my block... I can remember how to get to the mall (naturally) and to my elementary school from my old house... I can even remember the city bus # we used to take to the mall.

that's how I am with different times from my childhood as well....sometimes I can remember more from way back then....then I can remember what I ate for dinner 2 days ago! LOL!

Well... I'm in between jobs right now... I left my old job in January to get my real estate license.. so I've been taking classes, and I just passed the state exam.  I am just waiting for my license to arrive in the mail so I can start working.  :)

As far as recreational things... hmm.. I like to play paintball, shop on ebay/thrift shops, go for drives in the mountains with my 70s & 80s music blaring, hang out with my friends at coffee shops/bars, etc.
Oh yeah, and Reno/Vegas, of course.. but that gets expensive, so I can't go too much...

I actually right now am a stay at home mom to our nearly 3 year old nephew that we are raising.....but I have a little ebay business on the side. I specialize in vintage/retro clothing and other goods....my ebay ID is:  in--retrospect--vintage--shop....I don't have anything posted just yet...but I will be posting more very soon, as I have lots of vintage shirts..etc..on stock. I also sell things on Ebay for other people and we split the profit...it's a fun way to earn some extra money.  I also want to finish my schooling...I have about 1 1/2 -2 years to go...and then I will have a bachelor's degree in Photography....but time does not allow it...I am waiting until Vaughn starts kindergarten before I think about doing that.


For fun...I am ususally with my family...we like to do things together...I don' t really have many friends...but Beth is my best friend and we do a lot together.

I'm not sure if lazertag is the same idea.. I've never played lazertag.. but paintball actually can hurt, enough to make you go "OW!" but it's not serious... of course, you often get the guys who like to shoot the ladies in the butt... leaving a big bright splotch there..

we are still in the process of all of the headache paperwork...etc....they are doing an appraisal tomorrow...and our broker is working on all of the needed paperwork....so, we are hoping within the next few weeks..or the beginning of May at the latest....


it's not a long move...it's about 1/2 hour from where we are now......


it's gonna suck though because I won't be inthe00's for about a week during the move because the computer will be taken down and we have to have the cable guy hook it back up..etc.....

so I will definitely be missing inthe00's and all of you good people!!

The program is called Teamspeak.   I have to get my husband to explain it to me exactly, but we have it downloaded already because he talks to the guys that he plays online games with.  It's a cool idea.  We have earphones with the microphone attached so that the whole house can't hear the other people.   I know that there are a few websites out there that talk about it.  I will have him show me how to use it and I'll be more informed.

haha.. i think its kinda funny because whenever people change their names, and I look at the "who's online" thing, I always see so many people looking at their profiles, like trying to figure out who they are..  i saw tons of people looking at alex 2005 today and also djork

Yeah, it was like this last night too.. I think the time change has people screwed up...
But earlier tonight, I couldn't even keep up... especially when Alex, Apricot & Beth were going at it. lol

beth is over my house...and she was literally on the computer for over 5 hours straight....she had the boards up on the screen and like 5 different AIM screens of people up.....she was typing away! It was soooooooo funny! I was like, "I am getting the comp tonight" LOL~

Please. Batman isn't even a superhero. Does he have superpowers? No. He's a HERO, I won't deny that, but he's just a rich dude with a buttload of gadgets (that convieniently fit in his belt), therefore, not a superhero.

And Spiderman will pwn Batman any day.  :P

Actually, if you consider them heroes, the X-Men are, above all, the coolest superheroes ever.

I joined the AF back in 1996.  I joined because I liked the discipline and wanted a secure job.  I never had to go to Afghanistan or Iraq because I was pregnant the whole time.  Yes, I was pregnant from 07/2001 - 03/2002 and 07/2002 to 05/2003.  Almost two f-ing years!!!!  I got out of the AF in May of 2003.  My husband hasn't had to go to either of those places because he got out of the military in August of 2001 and then came back in 1 1/2 years ago, but has been in training ever since.

I worked in Finance and Accounting.  I was stationed at Luke AFB, AZ (Phoenix) for 6 years and Travis AFB, CA(near the Bay Area) for 9 months.
