Halloween part II....seen it 1,000 times so it doesn't really scare me anymore, but the first time I saw it. Loved it, it was scary.

Same here, that is the only film that has made me scream....normally horror films don't bother me at all...and although arachnophobia isn't really a horror film it scared the sh!t out of me! It was just too full of those creepy eight legged things lol!

Yeah I agree..most new movies arnt scary to me.  Its the oldies that I think are creepy..stuff like Friday the 13th and The Howling.

New stuff like The Grudge and The Village arnt very scary at all...too modern and unreal.

I don't really get scared by new horror movies, its more the older ones that give me the creeps.

Cabin Fever sucked. The idea of an illness was okay, but the movie was just college kids swearing and having sex. And if I wanna see that, I can just walk up the block. This bloody college town makes me sick sometimes..

splatter gore movies are boring, i like psychological horror movies like the ring and a movie that i just finished watching, ghostwatch.

Yeah, I like psychological thrillers. Slasher flicks and crap like that don't interest me, although if the villian is interesting, they can be okay.

I thought that the Ring was pretty scary (although the Ring 2 wasn't at all).....Texas Chainsaw was pretty gross....also the movie, "seven"...very creepy

it takes alot to scare the crap outta me... (im the kind of person that will slo-mo scenes to see the splatter more sick i know but i wanted to be a criminologist and found it all interesting )
but the exorsist did make me jump a few times... the uncut version that is...

I want to see Amityville but after looking up stuff on the internet this morning trying to see if it was or wasent based on a true story I really freaked myself out!  There are pictures on the net you can see of the people but who knows if they are the real crime scene pictures or not.  Still creaped me out  :o

I have noticed a lot of people mention The Ring on here.  I still don't understand what people thought was scary about that movie.  Not once did that movie even slightly scare me, it was an interesting movie but I don't think it was scary.  For me the only movies that seem to scare me are the older ones I haven't really found a new on that has really creeped me out.  Though I admit that new remake of Amityville Horror looks good.

My son was telling me that a film that was on TV last night Event Horizon (which contained strong language and very violent and disturbing scenes) was pretty scary.

Some really sick picture called "Cannibal Holocaust ....or Heaven(?)". I hate movies that have cannabilism(whether by Zombies or sick people). This one was so disgusting that I am still sickened by it to this day.
It was supposedly about a group of explorers who got captured and eaten by a tribe while they were trying to film a documentary or something.

At the mere mention of it an image of a bloodied dead woman impaled(in through the "back" and out the mouth) flashes in my head.

Has anyone else seen this horrible movie?

The only movie that scared me was the Exorcist.  But I was very young at the time and easily freaked.  Now I have yet to find a really good, scary movie.  Seems most movies these days are PG-13 rated. 

The Bad Seed (it wasn't very scary but it was disturbing at times...) The Exorcist (I saw it when I was about 7 and don't remember much but I was scared for a couple years), Poltergeist, IT and this one movie I foget the name but it was something like Whatever Happened To Baby Jane, again it wasn't scary but it was disturbing at times.

"The Howling" used to scare the crap out of me when I was a kid.  I was scared to walk home after that.
