When I first signed up, I signed in as ADH13 because it was easy to remember, and I really hadn't signed up with the intention of sticking around... I was just looking for a couple things... but now that I've been here awhile, I don't really care to be known as "ADH13".
I'd like a name reflective of the late 70's disco/early 80's era, but nothing that could be taken as sounding cocky.. (so "Hotstuff" and "PYT" are out of the question..) Doesn't have to be music related.. a reference to a toy, tv show or other fad would be cool too...
Any suggestions??

Changing your name is a long and exhausting process. First (if you are under 18) you must get consent. Then you need identification, going through courts etc. And it costs money too.

You must change it again.
Seeing as you stole it before, i feel it is only fitting to pass you the mantle of 'Alchoholica' You can even speel it withoot the extra h if you want ;)

Seriously though, it wouldn't let me... because even though you have changed your name, you are still alchoholica. if you ever get logged out for some reason, you will have to login as alchoholica..

I remember i used to get so confused about people's genders and age... the avatars really threw me off in the beginning. I thought you were in your 30's.

I was reading through this thread and was like, Whoa! What's this about. I'm so used to Andrea having this username, but it reminded me that in the early days, she'd been ADH13 and Alcoholica bumped it.
I totally forgot that until now 'cause I was pretty new then as well. Amazing how only 6 months ago seems forever (in board terms anyway!). ;D
Maybe because alot of us are here all the time, so it feels like a daily thing?
As for names, I think I'll be staying with this one. It fits me perfectly. :)
On that note, though, when I was signing up here, I went through a couple I'd considered (all having something to do with BTTF or some other 80's movie/song/event, etc!), but I was kinda shocked this one wasn't taken. He is a popular movie character and icon. ;)
