Subject: History Time Periods

Written By: Full_House_Fan on 02/22/05 at 5:42 pm

We're always speaking of decades here, why not centuries?

This is my classification of history:

pre 400 A.D. - Ancient Times
400-1400 A.D. - Middle Ages
1400-1607 A.D. - Renaissance
1608-1792 - Colonial Period
1793-1930 Industrial Age
1931-1981 Electric Age
1981-1993 Electronic Age
1994-now Internet Age

Thanks Good Red Shirt. :)

And maybe the major shift in pop culture(to a crappier culture imo) over the last 20 years is because we are in a new age..

Of course the dates may be out by a couple years or so, but it is about as close to accurate as possible.

I think the "Information Age" can be referred to internet and computers, so yes you might be right, ElDuderino.
