Well, if it's any consolation, on that other thread that was a little tense and you posed about the weather....well, I know I personally did laugh LOL!!

It's more at myself.

I thought I had gotten over my cold when they sent me out Saturday morning. Boy, was I wrong. There's nothing worse than being sick when you're out on the road. Thankfully they sent me right back home again. I was feeling like pure crap. The worst part is that when I got back today it was really nice out but I was feeling too crappy to do anything. I got 2 days off, but they're saying a cold front is going to move in, so even if and when I do get to feeling better, it'll be too cold outside for me to want to go out. Dammit, I wish this winter B.S. would hurry up and get over with already. There, I've vented.

Just got back from the doctor and he said I may have either strep throat or the mono. He gave me a bunch of antibiotics, man I hope they help.

I hate to tell you this, if it is mono, antibiotics won't help. Antibiotics helps infections. Mono is not an infection (like strep is), it is a virus.

All I know is that my tonsils are way swollen and have white blotches all over them and they hurt like hell. They can rip the f**kers out for all I care. The doctor said it most likely is not mono but he'll have the lab results back in a couple of days. He also wrote me a note so I can have the rest of the week off. I'm glad, too, not so much for my sake (I have bills I need to pay) but more so I don't have to worry about getting another driver sick and they have to deal with this B.S. I have now. >:(

I FRIGGIN HATE BANKS!!!!  We've been dealing with one for our lake house for the past few weeks, well, Friday, they inform us that since THEY did the math wrong, our required down payment has QUADRUPLED....today, they inform us that we can't use the contractor we've already hired unless he changes his business license...that and the fact that he's only owned the business less than 2 years (but worked as a project manager for a builder for 20+ years prior to that) and the ONLY contractor they will approve in the area we're building in is $65K MORE for the exact same friggin house >:(  They can go pound sand, we'll find someone else who's not such a PITA!!!

I went to 7-11 today, which is about 1/8 mile from my house, and on my way home I was driving and noticed this lady in the next lane over driving while twisted around trying to reach something in the back seat. Then she suddenly swerved into my lane and came within INCHES of my car. I think the only reason she didn't hit me is because when I honked my horn she decided to pop her head up and look at the road.  When she looked at me, I put my arms up like "What are you doing??" and she had the nerve to FLIP ME OFF

I can see how road rage starts.  ARRRRRRGGGGHHH!

Probably because you haven't met the right girl yet.  Don't rush it, because if you do, you might end up meeting your DREAM GIRL someday and not be able to pursue her because you're already taken by someone you're not that crazy about.  Even if you don't agree with me on politics, you seem like a very nice person and that probably means you are the type who wouldn't want to hurt anyone.  I remember before I had a boyfriend, I thought breaking up sounded almost "romantic" and fun... like it looks in the movies... it's not.  AT ALL.
