Last night I attended the 5th stop on Duran Duran's North American Tour!
They played to a sold-out crowd at The University of Texas' Performing Arts Center Bass Concert Hall.
A day later I am still at a loss for words.
First of all Clear Static opened for them. This band has been deeply influenced by The Cure and Depeche Mode IMO.
They played about 5 or six songs and did an amazing cover of The Romantics' Talking in your Sleep.

Then came the BOYS!!!!!
Simon, Roger, Nick, Andy and John came out on stage and the place went nuts!!!
All dressed in Georgio Armani - they were HOT AS HELL!
I obviously reverted to my teenage years and was screaming just as much as everybody else! (Could be why I am hoarse today  :D  )
Their entire performance was nothing short of perfect and Simon's one intimate moment with the crowd made this Soldier's Wife so proud of them. Simon turned to the crowd and talked about families being separated during these past few years because of conflict in other parts of the world, then dedicated either 'Come Undone' or 'Ordinary World' to those who are separated at this current time! (Sorry for my confusion - I am still reeling off of this)

Unfortunately, the PAC doesnt allow flash photography so I didnt get any pics and the cell only showed glare from all the lights! I bought their Tour Programme and a t-shirt to the tune of a whopping $80 USD. My avatar is a pic of my Fav - John Taylor - from the programme and below is from one of their many t-shirts!

If you have bought tickets..... be prepared for the best dang show this year!!!!!!!!

That's great, Tammy! Maybe they'll come through Colorado :) I'm really glad you had a great time though...nothing like seeing your favourite artists in concert ;)

They are coming to Colorado...Denver on the 16th of March.  Still tickets available if going but not too close to the stage!  I am going, 2nd row, I can't wait!  :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
