My oldest daughter just, minutes ago, gave birth to a beutiful baby girl named Darwin Alexandria.  Mom and baby are both fine.  Can't wait to get to the west coast to meet the little tike, my second grand daughter.  The first, Bailey Elizabeth, by the way is incredible.  No doubt her cousin will follow in her footsteps (yes, she is walking - man time goes fast).

Gorgeous name  - is there a story to it ? Was she named after Charles Darwin ? (or the Aus city !!!).

Darwin's mom is a biologist, so yeah, its after Charles, and Alexandria is after the anchient library.  Bailey is my 2nd daughters kid, and is named after one of her father's ancestors who was an early Vermont pioneer and revolutionary war hero.

When Carlos' sister heard the name Bailey, she asked if that was what they were drinking when she was conceived. So, I thought it would be appropate to name this on Kaluha  :D

Hey!!!  We could be related in a round about sort of way...Bailey was my maiden name ;)


His name was Jacob Bailey, also spelled Bayley.  There is a military road named after him, the Bailey-Hazen road, which went up into Canada.  Ring any bells?
