The best day was a year ago today Oct. 18th 2003-the day I married my best friend.

The worse day, I really don't want to talk about it.

Can I have three 'best' days?

1) when I got married
2) when my daughter was born
3) when my son was born

My worst day?

either the day before my daughter was born!  Or the day a car decided to park through our front door.

I can certainly give you a time period, Moparnut.

Best day: Probably any in the summer of 1991. I was happily living with my nan, grandad and uncle and playing with my friends next door.

Worst day: Probably Dec 1999 (forgot the exact date) where I lost my job and was told I had to move out of my home.

Best would be Jan 1, 1998 they day I gave birth to my daughter.

Worst would be tied with another best...July 17, 1990 the day I gave birth to my first child, then gave her up for adoption.  It is only the worst for selfish reasons, she has a better life now than she ever could have had with a 19 yr old mother making minimum wage.

My best day was having surgery July 1, 2004. It was the beginning of a new life.

My worst day was last November, when my dad suffered a heart attack. He's doing fine now.  :)

Why did you need surgery, KimberIndy?

Very glad to hear your dad is feeling much better.  :)

Howard,

So of these choices which is your absolute best and worst?  I think I can guess the worst one but I'm not too sure which you'd consider your best day ever.

Best: I'm not sure, I've had a lot of brilliant days. Maybe dancing around in a thunderstorm at the top of the Eiffel Tower!!

Worst: Again, I'm not sure. As far as I recall, I had all my really bad times when I was very little and it's all rather vague by now.

To all who have responded, I point this out to all of you. I have no idea yet what my best and worst days are since I have not reached the end of my life's journey and there may be so many more UPs and DOWNs. I will tell you this. The best days so far haave been the days my 2 daughters were born. I thought I had encountered my worst days already only to have them replaced by more worst days. I thought when my grandmother died that was the worst. But when my marriage ended and I divorced I thought that was the worst, not only for mr but for my 2 girls. But then 9/11 happened and my step-daughter died. So as of now 9/1 stands alone as the worst day in my life.

The best day? When my love e-mailed me back saying that she loved me too.

The worst day? I got a ton of them, all generally pretty close in badness:

1. The day my dad threw me out into the cold, heavy March rain.
2. The day I came closest to killing myself ever.
3. The day I almost lost the love of my life in a bus crash.
4. The day my father completely stripped my room of everything but a mattress. {I had no friends at that point in my life, so those were the only things I had}
