It's 9:36 on Sunday evening where I'm at right now.

Aww thanks gang.

Its a public holiday here (Queens Birthday) so initially I was going to sleep in.

But then I got a text message reminding me that my life long lust object Chris Isaak was on the Today show - so I had to wake at 6am - hard enough for a girl whose alarm never goes off before 7.30 - but geeeez its a holiday peoples !!!!

So I watched Mr Lusty for an hour and then fell asleep on the couch for a couple of hours !!

Nothing else planned - bit scary being closer to 40 than 30 now.  Flying to Sydney on Thursday, playing the red carpet strolling game with De Niro and Queen (and all the Sydney celebs who appear at the opening of an envelope) etc on Saturday, then going to the studio to see an Australia Idol ep being filmed, then rushing back to Perth to see Mr Lusty in concert.

So now I am sitting here eating leftover pasta and watching Teen Woolf on tv and trying to work out if I just saw a very young Courtney Thorne Smith on the screen !

Yeah I didnt think she was either cos I was an extra in her first movie and it was a couple of years later.  She had a lookalike tho and do you think I could find the similar looking blond in teenwolf again !  I had to watch the whole thing and man it was painful enough "back then" let alone repeating the experience.

Aww Gecko - I am so miffed with Channel Ten - the tiks arrived today and they are for the 17th GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR  I specifically told them I was flying over for the weekend of the 10th.

I have emailed them to see if they will sort it out - and if not I have also advertised for a swap on the Idol message boards.

I am sooo bummed - I was taking a friend who has just been diagnosed with depression after not coping with the death of her dad. She is a huge fan and I wanted to surprise her and cheer her up in a small way.

It's a shame everything got mixed up BMG.  It would be nice for you and your friend to get there.  I hope it all works out in the end.

I, as you know, can understand what your friend is going through.  I hope she starts feeling better. I still miss my Dad each and every day.

And I know for you its still so fresh - my friends dad passed away from a very fast form of cancer (they only had two months between diagnosis and death) three years ago.  I think she spent three years with a "happy mask" on - and now that mask is crumbling - and all the real feelings have bubbled to the surface and need to be addressed and dealt with.
