Subject: Where Have You Lived??
Written By: AngeliK on 09/18/04 at 3:34 am
I thought this would be quite interesting, and I thought about it because I'm looking for a flat with my boyfriend at the moment, which will be the 11th place I've lived since I was born (not bad for 18 years)!!!
I've lived in 5 different flats and houses in Brighton
A bungalow and a house in Lancing
A hostell In Worthing and a Pub in Worthing
and of course my Mums where I am now!
So come on do tell!!

Just under 30 years in three crapholes in South London...
And roughly 7 years in where I am now - sweet suburbia...!!
Best of luck with the flat-hunting, AngeliK...

Ah that's it! Southway. Quite a nice area of Plymouth to live. I used to live there in 1998 for about a year. The pub you are referring to is probably The King George as you go towards Woolwell. Yes, Devonport/Stonehouse are renowned for their apartment blocks - especially if you go to Curtis Street and that . . .
I live in a place called St Budeaux which is near to the dockyard and The Tamar Bridge to Cornwall.

For the first 20 years of my life, I lived in a mobile home in Lake View Terrace, California. (Now some of you are probably asking, "Where's that?" Well, it's actually a part of Los Angeles, in the northeastern corner of the "San Fernando Valley.") We never anticipated we'd end up there for that long, but that's what happened. Thank heavens we finally got the heck out of there in November of 2000. Exception: During the first three months after the earthquake of 1994, we "lived" in various motels and hotels in the San Gabriel Valley because our mobile home was damaged by the quake; however, all our mail was sent there, since it was our mailing address.
From November 19, 2000, to February 20, 2001, we lived with my grandmother in Granada Hills (another community in the San Fernando Valley, for those of you who don't know) while our new house in Oxnard (which we currently live in) was being built. Because construction started on it in September of 2000 and the escrow wasn't gonna close for another five months, we needed somewhere to live for three months.
And on February 15th, 2001, our escrow closed; however, we couldn't move in just yet because we had to go down to Anaheim for a religious conference. So we had to wait another five days before we could make our move. (The movers came on the 20th anyway.)

Ahhh we use to drink at the George - and another little cute one that we walked to via a cemetary. The pub I worked in was The Southway Inn - I believe it changed its name to something to do with monks - Seven Monks or something similar. One of the streets I lived in was Jeffrey Close and another was Bonville something.
If you can find me a link to a decent map of Plymouth I may be able to find that caravan park - its bugging me now !!
