Subject: going on holiday
Written By: karen on 08/13/04 at 4:21 am
I will be away next week on holiday.
We're all going down to South Wales to stay with my in-laws.
Hopefully, if the weather is reasonably decent, we should get on the beach and around the funfair. We've also planned a couple of days orienteering, which should be fun.

Karen - have a wonderful time. I hope the weather is great. We're off to New South Wales for our holidays in September! Post some pics of South Wales and we'll do the New South Wales pics!

Sadly, the Pacific Highway is also the home of way too many horrific accidents. :\'(

Our kids are disappointed - because of the new highway we now by-pass Mooball. They loved the corner shop and all the houses painted like fresian cows. I'm not complaining though because we used to have a "chuck stop" before they shortened the route to Byron - going over the range used to always be the undoing of our eldest daughter's stomach!!

Co-incidentally, karen, so will I...

Welsh Wales, eh? Won't be too far away from you (well, it's near-enough on the same side of the country at any rate)...Polperro, somewhere in Cornwall...which means a gut-wrenching drive down the 303...yikes!
Hopefully, if the weather is reasonably decent, we should get on the beach and around the funfair. We've also planned a couple of days orienteering, which should be fun.
I gather the weekend (at least!) should be okay...whatever happens after that we'll take pot luck with...still, the bar should be nice and dry...!!
Have a great one, karen...
