special occasions you'd wear either black brown blue or gray dress shoes.Make sure they're polished. ;)

You used to dance? My parents and I have been taking dance lessons/classes these past couple years...and I typically see ladies dancing in shoes similar in appearance to the ones pictured here.

Not pro, just dance on Saturday nights like any dancing fool, but high heels are the order of the day when looking slinky out there on the floor.  High heels are precarious whenever and where ever, but nothing says sexy like high heels.

Best shoes to wear when...you have wide feet, and a birth defect in said feet?

I recommend Doc Marten's "AirWair" boots.

They are made for wide feet, are very comfortable, and last years...literally.
They are about the only shoe I can wear, anymore.

Growing up, getting shoes was a nightmare for me!
Mom was literally buying shoes for me every other month, because I would break the seams & destroy the soles....just from walking.
