I am happy that it's Summer here but do not like the thought of turning the corner where the days are now getting shorter and the bitterness, and cold sadness of Winter is on the way...even though it'll be a while...

I'm with you, Southern Spitfire! I mean, we get a lot of rain here, which I don't really enjoy...but it's the heat that about kills me! The humidity isn't too bad, but I'm really in between on trying to enjoy the really hot summers we occasionaly get.
I did a three year stint in Florida, and I thought I was gonna die! :P

I love looking out my window and seeing the daylight. 8) Right now it's 7:40 PM here and the sun is out.

I look outside at 5pm and it's darker than it is at midnight. :o
