Yeah, aside from sticking to your own beliefs, it can be hard to be vocal about something when the majority will possibly go against you, so I applaud him for both sides on that. WHile I'm not sure I'd QUITE go as far as being anti-swearing roles if I were him, that's certainly still a refreshing change of pace. I'd rather someone be overly conservative than too far the other way.

I can also say as somewhat of an actor/performer myself, I can relate to how he feels. Even if you're just reading lines and pretending to be someone, it can be just flat out awkward if its directly against something you feel. Like, in one of my first acting classes, we did different scenes from When Harry Met Sally. I got a scene where he tries convincing her that "men and women can't just be friends, they always want to sleep with them, etc". And I remember finding it kinda hard to nail the character down because that's so not me. Heck, even just saying that stuff around other people didn't feel right because I'm fairly sensitive/feminist, as corny and stupid as that sounds.

I like Carey Elwes....even though his eyes look in different directions.  sometimes it's not so obvious- but in Princess Bride, i found it really distracting.

Yeah, I only recently found out she was a Christian. Even though I'm generally non-religious, I applaud her for that. Like I said, she already seemed sweet from what I'd observed.

No worries, I figured this wouldn't be a popular opinion. ;D

Even then, I suppose she wasn't so much traditionally attractive, but more cute in an "entertaining teacher's aide/soccer mom" sense (I was 9-10 in 1991, so anyone with more than 20 years on me could've been like a parental figure). Yeah, I don't entirely agree with her opinions or some of the things she's done recently, but at least in the early '90s she was more of a pure entertainer in terms of image.

Shia LaBeouf is so attractive lately. I saw him recently in "Disturbia".....and he is a real cutie!

Yeah she was a real cutie back in the Jerry McGuire days.  But now she looks like she ought to be on Springer instead. I don't think it is so much how she looks but how she carries herself.  Best way I can put it it "there's something wrong with that girl".  You could see that in the wedding pix when she married Kenny Chesney.

Her mother is from the Norwegian Sami ethnic group (in the Lapland region) and the squinty eyes and high cheeks are a common feature.  I'm not sure if the perpetually greasy face is from that or not though.  :-\\
