I wake up every day with a different favourite song on the outskirts of my mind. This morning it was The Beach Boys' 1973 track "Leaving This Town" with vocals from South African bandmembers Ricky Fataar and Blondie Chaplin. Great song.

I have a few. I guess it's between D-12's My Band, Brandy's new song, Kanye's work out plan, Diary by Alicia Keys and i hate to admit that I like Hillary Duff's Come Clean. there many others i can't just pick one.

Well, it's not so much a favorite song as craving a particular sound, I guess, but lately, I've been surfing the dial specifically to find stations playing anything from either Tool or A Perfect Circle.  If I'd seen this thread a week or so ago, I would have said Gov't Mule's version of John the Revelator -- I couldn't get enough of their version of that song for about three days.

Well, "Run Runaway" was a big hit 20 years ago...although I was in preschool at the time. It's a cool song. ;)

I agree. No Doubt is a cool band, and also one of my faves of all the time.

Some peolple say "Don't Speak" is their best hit. I like it, but my favourite is "Simple Kind of life", the first No Doubt Song I ever heard.

My second favorite tune is No Doubt's cover of "Its My Life" (I was never a huge fan of the original version done by Talk Talk though).

My favourite song at the moment, I guess, would be "Judas" by Depeche Mode. Beautiful song, and one of Martin Gore's finest moments both in songwriting and vocals. He has one of the most wonderful voices I've ever heard.

I'll pick two, actually. I've been listening to their 1977 self-titled debut album (with John Foxx on vocals) a lot lately, and two songs stick out for me: "Slipaway" and "Wide Boys." Awesome songs.

But then there's always "Young Savage"... Only released as a single in '77, but a damn good track.

Agreed.  He is one of my favorites and I own a couple of his CDs, which frequently see the inside of my CD player.  "Love Light in Flight" is another of his '80s tunes I like.  His '70s tunes were awesome as well.

You are not alone... A few of my friends also prefer the original...and many like both versions but felt No Doubt's cover was too overplayed.  That one is still my fave of the two though.  :)

Well, staying true to form, my absolute favorite song is of course "Stand and Deliver" by Adam and the Ants.

Of course, I have other songs which I would call "My favorite songs of the moment" since it changes often!
