Subject: PayPal email Scam Alert
I just wanted to alert everyone that there is a new, very authentic-looking scam email that is being sent out.
The email looks and "feels" like an authentic email from PayPal. It warns you that your PayPal account may have been breeched, and it even includes what APPEARS to be a link to PayPal so that you can log on and check your account.
BUT IT IS A PHONY! it is the best one of these scam emails I've ever seen. I verified with PayPal that it is a phony message. If you were to actually click to the indicated "PayPal" URL, the scammers would get your account info.
Just wanted to pass this on to fellow Decades Messageboard folks.

Yes, I received one of those e-mail "alerts", too. It's authentic-looking, all right, but I didn't click the URL. I get the Ebay ones all the time.

I've gotten the eBay one a couple times also. >:(

I get eBay ones often, and the ironic part is I don't have an account at eBay. ::)
