Subject: Signature lines, and images therein

I know several people places images in their signature lines, but there seems to be a tendency amongst a few people to place large graphics in them lately. I modified the profile screen to include a line about the size of images in signature lines. Anything over 60 pixels in height is too much. I'd prefer if they weren't animated too, but I'm not making that a requirement. If I see anything too large or obnoxious, I'll just remove it from your profile and leave a message for you.
I think large images in signatures distract from the messages, and also add a lot of time for people on slow connections to display pages.

:oi had no idea that animated images were a problem.I post from the public library,where you would think computers are slow,and I haven't noticed any difference in the time it takes to load.But thanks for the advice.cheers!
