Subject: Guilty Pleasures
I would like to know what everybody's favorite guilty pleasure is. You know, much maligned stuff you're too embarrassed to admit that you like. Mine is one of those novelty items, such as a frog that croaks to "Jingle Bells" or those lamps using strands of string lights. I also like poodles and chihuahuas, even though they don't like me very much. :-[

I love catching a old episode of Rockford Files or Hawaii 5-0 and plopping down on the sofa with chips and salsa..
If I get down, I sometimes go to Toys 'R Us and check out the toys, old and new..something about doing that picks me up.

:-X I hafe to admit, I have a little child in me who likes novelty toys also. As in animated dolls that sing jingles and such. My mother incourages my childish behavior, especially this Christmas when my gift was a male doll called the perfect man. I am the joke of the family cause I am recently divorced and seem to have a problem in that area. But anyway.. you squeeze his hand an he says about 25 different things... of course they are all compliments and sappy sweet things that most men dont say to women.. LOL.. and btw I am a 44 yr old woman... I guess things like this make us feel like kids...

I have so many I don't know where to start. My favorite Christmas album of all time is "The Partridge Family Christmas." I know, I'm hopeless.
I also love Clay Aiken, The Monkees (especially Micky), The Brady Bunch, and Fear Factor (which I never get to watch because my husband hates it).
I also love family game night (as corny as it may sound). I have a good time with my family as we laugh about who can come up with the goofiest answers at Trivial Pursuit. We actually get pretty hysterical sometimes. We usually wind up laughing until the tears are rolling. Outsiders would swear we were drunk.

I'm quite open about being a geeky Trekkie, so most of my "guilty pleasures" are things that kids these days consider to be "cool". Stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh! (the show with an exclamation mark to tell you that it's supposed to be exciting... although it is quite good fun); Justin Timberlake (sings like a goat in labour and has the intelligence quotient of a parsnip, but blimey, drool, slurp etcetera. Definitely one-night material); The Sims (I play it when my sis isn't looking); and those spicy, curly chips.
I love plenty of non-cool things, too, though- I also like toddlers' shows, such as Bear in the Big Blue House, Balamory and especially The Hoobs.
Oh, and I'm probably the only teenager in Britain who supports the Conservatives. I'm looking forward to reading the Hutton report (or at least the gist of it if it's a 500-page tome).

I love watching PBS shows, and I"m talking kid shows like Arthur!!!! I also watched the Magic School Bus.
I am also gonna have to agree with @sskicker on the whole Justin Timberlake issue. I definetly have not admitted that to anyone, whoever reads this, you are the only ones who know!!!
I love the Monkees, (Micky is my favorite too, Onaree!!) When I was younger and MTV started playing their show, I used to watch it everyday!!!!
Thats about it, as far as I am willing to tell!!
