i might try it if i didnt have several graded writing assignments due in november - let me see... 50,000 words in 30 days is 1,666 words a day which is about 6 pages double spaced... actually not all that bad when quality is irrelavent i might try to do this some time over the summer

I've passed to 20,000 word mark this evening. That's why I've not done any parodies this week :)

Holy crud, write a novel in a month???
I'd kill myself if I couldn't spend endless days fixing each chapter.
To be honest (I'm a writer, btw. Though I doubt it's apparent through my horrible grammer and writing on my posts, lol. Of course, like most other writers, I don't really get PAID to do it, so I have another job. I'm a Veterinary Assistant, 55 hours a week. But, I enjoy it.) I spend about 3 weeks per chapter. I have the best editors in the world and I'm surprised they haven't jumped off a bridge due to my nit pickiness, lol.
The novel I'm currently working on is going quite well. Everything else I write is availible online though. It's wonderful because it improves your writing skills while aquiring useful feedback from others.
But, 50,000 words in a month? *laughs* I could do it if you just let me rant endlessly about whatever comes to mind ;)
I wish any of you attempting it the best of luck. I think I'll just stick to my own endless editing ways.

I wonder if Tolkien did this once... I thought Lord of the Rings was like an extremely long Asperger monologue. But printed.
