Subject: Favorite movie?
My favorite movie, which isn't a movie in the theatres, it is a movie at Temple Square in Utah. It is called Testaments, about Jesus Christ coming to the Ancient Americas. It is an amazing movie. I also love "Castaway".

My favorite movie is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Movies just can't get any better than that!

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

I've got to agree with all of you - all great films. Gene Wilder was exceptional as Willy Wonka and that bit while they were in the paddleboat was genuinely scary.
Ferris Beuller is a great piece of 80s film-making.
My ultimate favourite film ever is The Odd Couple with Jack Lemmon and Walter Mattheau.

Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home.
And all the Star Wars films except TESB and AOTC. TPM was good (mmmm, Ewan McGregor, yum... Ahem)
And American Pie was good. Pity about the ending though, far too mushy!

The Princess Bride
Shrek
LOTR
Desperado

Well of course there are lots that I enjoy but if I'm forced to pick one only it would have to be "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". It always makes me crease up with laughter, sometimes even before the funny bit happens when I remember what's coming next.

Not exactly a big movie person, but I'd say "Office Space".

I love "What Dreams May Come, and "Instinct", speaking of Cuba Gooding Jr. A great actor, I want to see the new movie he is in, "Radio". About a mentally challenged young man and his dream to coach a football team.

I taught the kids at the bridge club to sing that. I also taught them to sing "Turkey In The Straw"... but none of them want to sing either.
Who wants to sing "Turkey In The Straw" with me? Come on... Turkey in the straw, hi-tuck-a-haw, (you know the words) turkey in the hay, hi-tuck-a-hay, oh roll 'em up an' twist 'em up, a hi-tuck-a-haw... Everybody!
