I think I've got an idea what @sskicker is referring to (correct me if I'm wrong). Think about the connotations of the term 'guilty pleasure'. ;)

Oh. ::)
Subject: Re: Your "Guilty Pleasures"
Ahem. Sorry, I just have a dirty mind. (I'm an adolescent, what do you expect...)
Well, I may as well contribute:
*The Fast Food Song (The Fast Food Rockers)
*Tearin' Up My Heart (N*SYNC)
*The Pokémon theme song
But don't tell any of my schoolmates, they'd hang me off the ammometer on the school roof and slice my belly and pull my intestines out etc etc.

Of all people, you think that that song is a guilty pleasure? Try telling me you like "When It's Night-time In Italy It's Wednesday Over Here" and I'll believe you. Hehe.

:D :D :D :DActually i took the question to mean liking a song you're not 'supposed' to like for any reason, including the lyrics ;) ;),and a lot of people consider that one to be one you're not supposed to like-but it is a great song.I think "When It's Night time in Italy,it's Wednesday over here" would be good to use in either a Gap or Old Navy commercial :D :D :DCheers!

My god I have so many guilty pleasures.
I have to admit that some of the S club Juniors/Sclub 8 (Whatever the hell they're called) songs are really quite good :-X :/ :S .
Steps - Last Thing On My Mind ( The Bananarama original is awful!)
A lot of Kylie's music
Glen Medieros - Nothings Gonna Change My Love For You - I don't know why!!??
Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby (I know, I know - but I like it BECAUSE it's crap!!That's what I'm telling myself anyway.)
Scooch - More Than I Needed To Know - There is just something about the first part of this song??
Britney - Overprotected :-X
Maniac - the flashdance song - How cool is the music to it, buthow much do the lyrics suck??
Erasure song - I never admit to liking some of their music :S
Jacksons - Torture - people always slag this one off
Little Mermaid - Part Of Your World - I love that song :)

Never have I heard the word Scandinavia pronounced so badly as on that song.
Hehe. I can understand the Gap allusion... I thinks.

:-/ :-/ :-/Hmmmm.....I'd have to hear an actual Scandinavian pronounce the word Scandinavia before I can fairly judge if the Everlys pronounce it well or not tee hee.... :D ;) ;) ;) :DOh wait a minute--I'm an actual Scandinavian...well,sort of...I'm not actually from there, but my great grandmother's parents were :D :D :D!I had a great great grandfAther named--get this---Eric P. Scooch did a song previously called 'When my baby comes' and it is one really catchy song. I bought 'More than I needed to know' because that was the only way I could get hold of it but it was 'Mighty Remix' or something - Oh hum!
Quoting:Maniac - the flashdance song - How cool is the music to it, buthow much do the lyrics suck??End Quote
Agree entirely Criz. The intro is one of the best but the lyrics/singing don't seem to scan with the music at all - apart from the chorus. A shame really.
