Subject: Re: hurricane isabel
Well, my girlfriend evacuated her house. My parents are sticking it out.

They've closed our office tomorrow, so I get to sleep in! I don't think it's going to be as bad as they fear, but I'm not going to complain about having a paid day off of work!
My other still has to work, so I told him I would miss him as I snuggled back into the blankets after he leaves...

no wait, Ethan's at college now, if Im not mistaken, but farther out on the island is a better place to be.
Yeah, I spent my afternoon today tying a huge tarp over all the stuff on my patio and trying to mend a rope through all the holes. Eventually, I realized that I wouldnt have close to enough rope for every hole, so to avoid wasting time, I finished it off by doing only about 3 holes for the last two sides whereas I did every hole on the other two sides, so I dont know how well this will hold, lol.

Subject: Re: hurricane isabel
nothing happened here. (i'm in eastern PA.) apparently, the power went out in town because of a car accident, but nothing weather related. no rain, but it was windy. (i had been counting on no school, so i stayed up late...that totally didn't happen. ::))
