Subject: Songs That Seem To Follow You
So last weekend my sister and I went to the city, and while I was in Best Buy, I heard "The Game of Love" by Santana and Michelle Branch. Then, a little later, we heard "The Game of Love" again in the car. While at the mall, we heard "The Game of Love" yet again. Then we got in the car and we heard "My Father's Eyes" by Eric Clapton. Fifteen minutes later we heard "My Father's Eyes" in a grocery store, which I thought was extremely odd since it's been probably a year since I last listened to that song... ::)
So what songs seem to "follow" you?
Subject: Re: Songs That Seem To Follow You
Well I can't say I've had a song 'follow' me like that, but today "The Other Woman" by Ray Parker Jr suddenly popped into my head for the first time in 20 years.

Nickelback's " How You Remind Me" Was playing a lot on an upstate New York radio station.

I hope I can go for 20 years without hearing that song

I can't really say that any songs "follow" me because I don't listen to the radio very often...I play my CD's. :)

when i went to reading a few weeks ago, my one friend kept switching the radio station...we heard john mayer's "no such thing" three times, "your body is a wonderland" twice, and some other song of his twice. we also heard no doubt's "hella good" twice...and the sad part is, we kept switching between five stations. :o

It seems to happen with me. I kept hearing "More Today Than Yesterday"(Spiral Staircase) once in the morning and the next day I heard it again.Unbelieveable. :D

Avril "I'm With You" is stalking me. I usually turn my radio on and listen to it as I go to sleep, and that song has come on 3 nights in a row.

generaly, when a song follows me I file a restraining order.....
anyway, this past week, every place I go, every music channel I turn on, I hear the song "Miss Independant" by Kelly Clarkson...that song is So annoying it isnt funny.......
Subject: Re: Songs That Seem To Follow You
I don't think you can say a song is following you if, like "I'm With You" or "Miss Independent," it's being played every thirty seconds; of course you're going to run into it.
I heard "Soul to Squeeze" by the Chili Peppers on three different radio stations within a three hour period on Saturday.

When Britney Spears released Born To Make You Happy, I heard it about 3 times in one day. I must have been in the car on the way to Oaklands, a respite care house I used to go to, and that song was playing. At Oaklands, the song played again. It played on the way back and that was the third time I heard it.

Maybe that's because they were playing it as a tribute to him.

I've been hearing "We Got the Beat" by the Go-Gos quite a lot lately...

On Red Dragon FM yesterday, I heard OK by Big Brovaz and David Gray's Be Mine three times each. One time Ashanti's foolish was on the radio, I watched some music videos on TV and that video was on. After watching it, I turned to another channel and it was playing again. The same video can play on at least 2 channels at the same time.
