Subject: AHHHH SPRING
This is probably my favorite time of year. Mother Nature is renewing herself in wonderful splender. The daffidils and tuliups are in full bloom and the lilacs are just about there. As we are driving, I can help but point out beautiful trees with all the blossoms on it.

As much as I hate what all the pollen does to me and my athsma in the spring, the sudden blossoming of all the spring flowers makes it worth the wheezing I have to go through.
First the crocuses...the first flower to bloom, they are a better indicator of when spring begins than any calendar.
Followed shortly after by tulips, daffodils, jonquils, hyacinths and irises. Some of the neighbors have fruit trees, too, so we have cherry blossoms, apple blossoms, and pear blossoms.
And the lilacs... :-* :-* :-* My favorite flower in the whole world.
Any guy who wants to impress me needs only to bring me a few lilacs. No pickup line will work better.

Spring is also my favourite time of year but as we are still being rainned upon it kind of dulls it all a bit as you can't get out there and enjoy it all *~SIGH*

I was thinking the same thing the other day Gis, but then I realized it's all in how you approach the situation. I opened my door the other morning and took a big ol' whif of the mountain air after one (of many) of the spring showers we've had here lately, and everything smelled and looked so clean and fresh. Like I said, it's all in how you look at it. ;)

I confess, I "stole" the pic from a nursery that sells lilac trees. But there is nothing like having lilac trees like we have in front of our house. We walk out and smell them. They are WONDERFUL!

I don't like Spring here where I live because of the tornado season. >:( And I feel like it has been delayed, because of our still chilly nights. I would much rather be where it is nice and warm!! :D

I hope I don't have to keep my jacket on in June cause if it's gonna be like this next month,We're gonna have to move.(j/k) ;D
I'd rather see temperatures in the 90's then having to keep my coat on at 55degrees in June. :P
