Subject: You're not the only one your user name...

I went to another message board and discovered that somebody has the same user name as me.
(Yes, I'm a registered member of this board)
Has this ever happened to you.
The only best thing for me to do is to ignore that other board and stick to the greatest board of all time: "Inthe00's" board.

With a name like "Catwoman" believe it or not, it is pretty popular. ::) That is why I usually register under "CatwomanofV" There has been a couple of times it did say that there was another "CatwomanofV" so I registered under CatwomanofVenus or CatwomanofV2. The thing is, I am afraid that I might have been the other "CatwomanofV" I may have registered, not remembered and tried to register again. Who knows.

And here I thought Arcfire was rare, I went to get a new ICQ account for work and find there was 35 registered Arcfires! :P I still have my old account tho! ;D

With the exception of a few lurker names, I'm fairly creative when it comes to choosing something that, most likely, is not featured in another place. Although I don't visit other messageboards... so far I am the only "Tarzan Boy," "L'Etranger," "L'Ombre Vivant," "Ilyich El Gordo," and a number of other poster/lurker names. The only ones which I have gotten from other places are "goatboy," "Twigger," and, definitely, there must be other "Ghost" posters in other places. I know of one who turned out to be a hacker in another place and used that name, but with slight variations in lettering...

I was surprised no one had snagged up "Rice Cube" on this board. However, it was already taken by the time I signed up for Yahoo and AIM...oh well :)
I've also used "NextofKin", a play on my name :)

dagwood is pretty popular. If there is another dagwood I will register as dagwood84123. Luckily I am the only Dagwood here. I don't think you could handle two of me. ;)

I rarely have any issues registering under either of the two names I use on messageboards.
I am always either "XenaKat13" or "LadyAres". If one has already been used, the other hasn't.

Jonman was used on the Bon Jovi boards when I joined which kinda irked me...the guy's name is Oleg and it has nothing to do with him or his name..he picked it "because it sounded cool"...it's MY nickname dammit!! I guess it's because of JBJ's first name being Jon and him being a fan...whatever...
Other than that I pretty have been able to get Jonman whenever I've wanted..except on Yahoo...

In all other boards, I am shellybasser, but I don't visit those very much cuz they all bite. No, I haven't encountered any other ShellyGals. No wonder, it is a pretty weird name... I wish I could change it... to Blinky!!!

i have never encountered another "oddxsocks," but i don't imagine it's freakishly rare or anything. :)
however, this is the only place i'm known as by oddxsocks! (besides a lame neopets account i made while being bored)
i'm usually doxers the Great. yes, the "G" is always capital. haha. i've also been PA_Doxie, and on occation, asdfym.

So far I am the only Banasy that I am aware of....but then, I am only on two boards, and I don't visit the other one!
When I am too lazy to login, I usually just go with a takeoff of my name...my most recent post was under the name of Lazy BaDonna. 8)

Well, there are other Billy Florio's in the world, but I dont think there are many on other websites...this is really the only place I use the name Billy Florio..on other boards (Like eatglue.com and Vh1's "The greatest" message board) and around the web Im the shortened Bflorio12 ...I dont think there are others with that name (and Ive used a few variations of it at times...)
I also once used the name AeroJoel (not here), but I only used it once, and I havent used it ever again....I havent seen it anywhere either
