Well, I call it my wallet, but it is really a checkbook holder/change purse thingy. But when mine was stolen four years ago, checks and all, I quit carrying checks around with me.
I currently have:
My debit card
A Stop & Shop frequent-buyer discount card
My state-issued ID cart (for non-drivers)
My Social Security Card
Six business cards from temp agencies I have registered with.
Two appointment cards from doctor's offices (both current and relevant).
Health insurance cards for me and my daughter.
Unemployment office job-seeker ID card
My daughter's hospital ID card
My hospital ID card
The CAT's hospital ID card (and all three are the same shade of blue. Do you know how many times I have given the cat's card to my daughter's doctor because I grabbed without looking? ::) )
A "buy 6 and get the 7th free" coffee buyer's card from Store 24 with only two more cups to buy.
A CVS Drugstore frequent buyer/discount card
A Shaw's supermarket frequent buyer/discound card
Our old public health insurance card because it has my daughters SSN# on it. (I can't find her card and I'm too lazy to go apply for a replacement. She won't really need it till she's old enought to go out and get a job).

My purse is just as empty. Just add a lipstick, compact, a pack of gum, and a cellphone.
