It's a transcript of a fantasy wrestling match of Beyonce' (from Destiny's Child) against Deborah Gibson.
(It's PG rated)
BTW, I have nothing against Deborah Gibson & Beyonce'.
Though I don't listen to Destiny's Child.
I found it harsh & very immature.
Why would anybody still still ridicule Deborah Gibson?
Not to mention Deborah Gibson & Beyonce' are 2 separate pop singers from different generations.
I want to read some opinions about this horrid transcript.
Whether you find it dumb or funny.
BTW, I wasn't very offended. I actually felt discusted that some people still have the nerve to poke fun at some talented teen queen from the past instead of current teen pop garbage & nu metal slop.
And I'm not that much of a fan of Deborah Gibson.

Then why mention her in practically every post you make? I do think you're *slightly* obsessed. Everyone has their obessions. Ok, I adore The Smiths, but I don't automatically post a link to where someone is slagging off my favourite band. People ridicule past and present music artists all the time - you can't expect everyone to like the same music. Plus, on occasion it can be funny. (Btw - I only read a couple of lines from the link, so I don't know how harsh the writer was).
Just some constructive criticism - I don't want you to think I'm attacking you or anything, cause it's not my style. :)

Some advice~
Don't take things too seriously when it comes to people making fun of or talking smack about Debbie Gibson. People are entitled to make fun of whoever they want. Debbie Gibson is a prime candidate unfortunatley. People have been making fun of her since 1989.
Don't sweat it APS, just ignore it & move on. :)

Where was the ridiculing and poking fun part again? All I read was a long, boring transcript of wrestling moves with an eventual conclusion. It doesn't even look like it was meant to be funny at all, it's just a description of a wrestling match with pop stars instead of wrestlers.
I should hope you weren't "very offended." There's nothing there to be offended about.

And I still don't know why the author, of the transcript, wrote a fictionalized wrestling match between Beyonce' & Deborah Gibson?
Why not somebody appropriate like Kelly Rowland?
(Kelly Rowland is another Destiny's Child member who also have a solo album.)
(No Offense To Kelly Rowland Fans)
Even that cheesy MTV clay celebrity wrestling show made sense & (in my opinion) also "well written". (Though it was a "guilty pleasure" type show)
(I've seen a couple of episodes when it was on the air)
Ex) Jerry Seinfeld ruined Tim Allen's stand up act.
Mandy Moore (nice girl) takes on Pink (bad girl).
David Blaine vs. David Copperfield (rival celebs)

Deborah Gibson & Beyonce' just doesn't fit.
Ironically, I had a mental picture of the MTV cartoon when I was reading the transcript. (I still find the show mediocre)
That "mental picture" is now out of my head. :D
I read it again, a few minutes ago, and it was actually boring (I agreed with MNIK's comment) & the author probably is a fan of Destiny's Child. (He/she is entitled to his/her opinion)
And wrote some fantasy wrestling match.
(No offense to the author of this transcript,in case he/she comes across to this site/thread)

Actually, part true.
I actually read the transcript out of curiousity.
Because it mentioned one of my favorite singers. (obivious)
It reminded me of that MTV cartoon about clay celebrities wrestling. (I'll admit that I watched a couple of episodes)

Though I like listening to Deborah Gibson's albums, but I don't consider myself a big fan.
Not to mention that Deborah Gibson is a stage actress & I don't really like theatre.
She still puts out albums occasionally. :D
BTW, I don't consider myself a fan of any specific artist/group.

Ha! Ha! Debbie Gibson doesn't even lose. They both draw because the time limit expired.
I'm not sure what the problem is with the site. It doesn't mock anybody at all. It is just a run down of events that lead to a non-conclusion. Whoever wrote it though knows their wrestling holds! I should know I love wrestling!
Why do people take the mickey out of Debbie Gibson? What is the story behind it?
As a footnote, she doesn't half look lovely in that picture. ;D
