I haven't been around much lately because it's been the busy build season for the high school robotics team I volunteer on. Last weekend, we attended a Regional competition in Richmond, VA. Out of 60 some teams, we came in dead last. Our robot didn't move for most of our matches (there were problems with our mobility base) but by the end Saturday, we had it moving.
Tonight our Pit and Flight crew along with several chaperones, leave for Annapolis for their last competition (unless they win the robot competition or the Autodesk Animation competition, then they get to go to the National cometition in Texas) they will compete in. Thursday is a practice/work on you robot day and Friday and Saturday is the actual competition. The rest of us will join them bright and early on Friday.
They really don't have much of a chance for their robot to win, however, our animation is very, very good and does have a chance in winning... So wish us luck for the animation and for us to not finish in last this time!

I built a robot once. :) It was hydraulic though...I'm no good with electronics :-/

Thanks everyone! We did have some good news. Our animation took second at Richmond which means it qualifies for the Nationals competition. I don't know if this means are team can go or not, I guess I'll find out tomorrow!
