Ok, so today the paper arrives in the mail, its the Herold for my town and it prints up news from the high schools, and any other event in the town. Recently, a wrestler at one high school in my town named, Joe Moron, won the county finals meaning that he precedes onto the state. This event took the front page, so on every copy, in big bold letters on the front page, it said, "MORON STEELS COUNTY!" Being from Nassau County, New York, for some reason, our county supervisor, Tom Suozzi comes to mind!

That's great, it reminds me of years ago of a headline in the Tacoma News Tribune about a local political dabate between two politicians, one named Beaver and the other Dicks. I don't recall what exactly it stated but I can say that it was dang funny. ;D

LMAO. my newspaper has had some pretty interesting headlines in the past...
i live north of philadelphia. this was the headline, the most important news of the day:
Yo, who's not rootin' for the Eagles?
evidently, the super bowl is more important than anything else... ::)
of course, then there was this other one. the article was about a US embassy having rocks thrown at it.
US Embassy Stoned.
needless to say, my art class had fun with that one. ;)

Not too long ago, a local rag ran a headline that said "Children Collected For Needy" Hmmm...
