i do, at first i was only going to promote my parodies, but i became addicted and suddenly i was desperate for attention.

I joined Sept. 9th last year so it wasn't that long ago. I remember I found it surfing for some 80s trivia. I was going to be some confrontive @sshole but most the people here are to nice, and Hairspray is quick to edit and keep things clean. ;)

Yeah.......I remember. I came here looking for the words to "Radar Love" because of a long standing argument with my brother. I was a regular on Court TV's messageboard and was instantly hooked here because of the difference in the two. The laid back nature and how I was made to feel welcome and like a part of the family here just flipped me out. Talk about a lot changing since 9/12/02, ::).You have no idea........(well, a few of you do......one in particular ;))

I came here back in 1999 because I got hooked on messageboards and wanted to help people out. After all, that's what a messageboard is really for is for people to ask questions, hoping that someone would know the answer, and that's what I really want to do around here. When it changed in 2001, I resisted the urge to register, as I would like to remain anonymous, but I registered anyway, though I really didn't want to.

I remember being new. Came here looking for advice on writing my 80s article, and have stayed every since! Was about a year and 2 months ago :) Felt like some of the 'regulars' shut me out a little, and some of my posts were either ignored beacuse I was either new, or maybe just beacuse I'm a teenager.
I definitly don't feel like that anymore. I hope I've proved that I'm not just a 'kid' anymore. I am 18 now after all ;D Although I wouldn't say I'm addicted really, I do enjoy comming here and chatting about mainly music with many who share similar opinions. And even those who oppose my views can be interesting also ;)

Sure do. I was having an attack of 80's nostalgia when I stumbled accross this site, then the messageboard.
I first joined in early 2002...I think. Nice, friendly crowd here and a fun place to hang-out on the net while struggling through the dark months of unemployment. (probably shoulda been looking for work. Oh well.)

yeah i can relate my opinions got trashed too, so i souled out and started just asking questions, the sad thing is ive become quite consistent for hot topics.

It wasn't that long ago for me, couple of months or so, and I just can't seem to leave. I have already made some good friends here. Friendliest place on the net. I was making an observation the other day that it is like "Cheers" without the liquor. ;D

Lets see, I dont even remember when I started. :-/ ummmm, me and masq's friend whos a senior said this is the best site for parodies of songs, and i checked it and thoaught it was funny. She saw that it had a message board and I was like im on another music board so she joined as scorpion. Then later on after I stopped going to kissthisguy.com's message board i signed in here.

Oh yes, the original messageboard at kissthisguy.com. That was the first messageboard I found, and I hated it because it was not moderated, but I always kept coming back there. I quit going to it when they changed it as I actually hate going to messageboards you have to register for. When they changed this one over in 2001, I resisted the urge to register, but I did. I prefer to remain anonymous, however, and that's why I like message boards you don't have to register for.
