You know, that is very immature. You are calling Ghetto John immature but yet you come in as a guest and call him names.  He is just trying to respond to what people say. I don't see anything wrong with him posting as much as he does. If you don't like what he has to say DON'T READ IT!!!!!! Everyone has the right to state their opinion but when that includes calling people names, I think that is going a bit too far.

I think the beef is that John doesn't usually have "posts of substance"...there is also a private message function on this board that allows one to do an IM type conversation.

As for Philbo, he posted twice as many times as John, yes, but whereas Phil's post were over the past couple years, John's posted that much in less than a couple months.  

But I shouldn't talk, I've been on a rampage ;)

I'm glad you defended John.  He has a right to post.  I guess he just needs to learn to make full use of his posts in the future.

Oh, I didn't even look at the total number of posts, I was just referring to that particular thread.

I guess the reason that I defended him is that I have found myself doing the same thing.  And, since I'm fairly new to boards, I don't quite know the whole "board etiquette."  I just think that if "Disgusted" had a problem with the way John posted, he should have gone directly to him (privately) and said exactly what you stated about making full use of his posts, or just made a general statement regarding how "some people" tend to have conversations between themselves, as he is not the only one I have seen do it.

Anyhoo...enough before I get myself reprimanded ;)
