For the people that go to school here, when do you go back from Christmas break? I go back the 2nd, which is really stupid, because the 2nd is a Thursday, which means we go back to school for two days, and then it's the weekend again... ::)

My daughter's last day was Friday the 20th, and it was a half day.
Normally they go back to school on the next business day after New Year's Day. That is, if January 1st falls on a Friday, she would go back to school on the following Monday.
This year, they've declared the next business day as an all-day teacher's meeting/planning session. And since there's no sense in coming in to schoo for only one day, she doesn't have to go back to school till January 6th! :o
What am I gonna do :-/ I'll be either totally gray, or bald (from pulling out my own hair) by then.

Winter Break around here started on the 16th of December. The kids go back on January 6th.
