Subject: Steal This Thread
When I was in college graffiti was an "issue". Pranksters would scrawl anything on sidewalks, the sides of building, in the public lavaratories, and it cost time and money to remove it.
They did it right, in my opinion, in the ROTC building. In their men's room they taped long rows of tall butcher paper on the wall. It was the "designated graffiti space", and after it was filled they took it down and put up a new row.
So, in the hope of keeping other, more serious threads on track, and, in the spirit of accomodating the prankster in all of us, I offer this thread up to anyone who wants to hijack it.

There's a designated "graffitti wall" in the local downtown shopping area. It's on an alley, near what the local gangs consider "neutral territory" Once per month, when it's full, the building owner repaints the wall so the kids can start over.
What I don't understand is: if the wall is 15-20 feet high, and there is no fire escape or street lamp anywhere nearby, how do the kids get the graffitti all the way to the top of the wall?
OK, I can see if they pulled a car up against the wall and stood on top of it. That could account for stuff up to about 10 feet. And assuming they figured how to get up to the roof, and had someone hang onto their ankles while they hung down from above that would cover the top two or three feet.
How do they manage to fill the rest of the space? ??? ???

The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonoured, and unsung
