Just wanted to let everyone know that I most likely wont be posting during the week. I stated in the 'friends' thread about problems in my relationship..well it escalated to the physical level last night and the retched monster is spending the weekend in jail. i'm sorting out my affairs and trying to get my items shipped out on monday. immigration is giving me a free ride home, as my visa had expired months ago..so obviously i wont have internet access for a few days next week, but I WILL be home within the week , just in time for my birthday , which is brilliant.

We'll all miss you! Especially me! Hope you're back soon!

thanks for your support..i just bought loads of packing stuff but haven't gotten around to packing this up yet, lol. i'll probably end up doing that tomorrow.  i just can't wait to get home and be happy again :)

I'm trying to figure out exactly how much my stuff weighs. I can only estimate what a hard drive or monitor can be. I'm trying to get a UPS collection in order for monday. the rest i can send out in envelopes

I still haven't gotten around to packing up my computer yet, I have until tomorrow anyways. I won't find out when I go back home until Monday or Tuesday but I know it will be later this week. I'll be sending some of my other stuff out tomorrow morning.

I went to visit his best friend yesterday. I never really made any of my own friends here. He had lived with him for a while and he moved out for the same reasons basically, the only diffference was that they weren't partners. 99% of this stuff occurred when he's had alcohol in him, doesn't matter what amount. He had hoped that I would have calmed him down with his recklessness. He says he hopes that my leaving will make him think about what he's done to me and cause him to stop drinking and get his act together. He was very very upset when I told him what his 'mate' had done to me and he of course saw the injuries for himself. I look a lot better today anyways, I don't want to return home looking like a wreck. I will definately have a hard time getting adjusted to my 'old' life and I have no idea how I'll feel. I know it will take me a long time to get in the groove. I will probably give myself a month to rest before I start looking for work again as I am angry with myself for spending all this time here wasting away. I really never thought it would have gotten so bad.

I know how you feel, it took me several months to "get my act" together after my big breakup.  I had a small child in the mix, and while you don't, you have to deal with moving to another country. (Your own, but it's still a big move.)

As for him getting his act together, I wouldn't hold my breath.  My ex acted like a monster while under the influence of booze, drugs, and both.  When he's sober, he'll willingly admit that's what lost him the best things and people in his life, but he can not or will not do anything to *stay* clean and sober.
