Subject: Best Episode Ever! (Simpsons)

Written By: max_power on 10/31/02 at 00:41 a.m.

I really have no "all time" favorite episode, but I do have tons of Homers remarks that just KILL me, like when Homer was getting dressed in the treehouse and fell out,
"Stupid Gravity"
The chili cook off,
"Maaarrrgggee, we're missing the chili!!!"
Homer at power convention, back in hotel,
"Oh Margey you came and you found me a turkey,
on my vacation away from worky"
And yes, Homers new name,
"I got it off of the side of a hair dryer"

I'll leave it at that!

My favourite episodes are the one which stars Mandy Patinkin as Hugh St. John Alistair Parkfield (Lisa's Wedding, series 6), the soccer riot episode of season 9 in which Homer purchases a gun (The Cartridge Family), and many others. These are probably my favourite two of the moment.

Seems like we did this not long ago but Max wasn't around then. Mine has to be the "Bleeding Gums Murphy" one, being that I'm a sax player. Him and Lisa jammed to "Jazzman" at the end of the show.

I love the episode where Homer and Marge try to spice up their love life. They sneak into the windmill at the put put course to fool around and are discovered! So, they take off naked, running through the streets of Springfield. Finally, they commandeer a hot air balloon, only to have Homer scrape his naked behind across the glass roof of the Crystal Cathedral, where services are being held. Then, Marge lands the balloon in a stadium, full of football spectators, and Homer gets a football field goal right into his butt!!! One of my fave episodes of all time!!!  ;D

I love them all!  One of my favorites is the episode with John Waters and the gay steel mill.

My two favorite episodes are when Homer saves Bart from getting baptised, and the Pulp fiction one with a different skit about everyone in town.

My favorite one consists of a bunch of little stories which intermesh (think it's called "A Day in the Life" but I could be wrong). One part that I remember distinctly is Nelson laughing at this really tall guy who's crammed in a sub-compact car. The guy gets out of the car, pulls down Nelson's pants, and forces him to walk down Main Street to the ridicule of the entire town.

Snake wacking day episode was awesome.  I always crack up when Homer does his ninja thing in the backyard.

I have too many faves:

The one with Britney Spears ;), the one where Mr. Burns gets an award as oldest man alive after the previous dude dies after being kissed by Brit. The Simpsons stay at his mansion.

The one where Bart sells his soul. I will never forget the opening scene with the entire church singing "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" as a hymn called "In the Garden of Eden" (Coincidentally the original title, but you knew that! ;))
